ZEGAN DOYLE
Although quiet by nature, Zegan Doyle (they/them) is a writer, director, and film programmer who lives for drama. They are the 2025 Project Involve Film Programming Fellow at Film Independent where they are the lead programmer for the Artist Development Showcase. Zegan is a SXSW Documentary Feature Programming Associate and has contributed to programming at AFI FEST, Mill Valley Film Festival, Outfest LA, Baby Teeth Film Festival, and the Rubin Museum of Art, and evaluated scripts at BFI Production Finance Market and Austin Film Festival. They are an alum of the Storytelling Institute Fellow supported by Canal+, the City of Cannes, and the Cannes International Film Festival. Zegan serves on the advisory board of CIACLA (Contemporary Irish Arts Center Los Angeles). Currently, they are writing and directing the short film Sister Claire. Zegan can be found studying the Irish language or spending time with their two beautiful cats.
