Zegan Doyle is an Associate Programmer, Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival, with a focus on U.S. and international narrative features. They began at the Rubin Museum of Art where they were the film programmer for the repertory film series Cabaret Cinema before moving into the festival space. They programmed documentary features at SXSW and have contributed to programming at AFI Fest, Mountainfilm, and Outfest. As a Fellow for Film Independent’s Project Involve, they programmed the Artist Development Showcase. Additionally, they were a Fellow for the Storytelling Institute in Cannes with the Cannes Film Festival, the City of Cannes, and Canal+. They have an MFA in Screenwriting from University of California, Los Angeles. They are the founder and curator for AQUA Film Club. They wrote and directed The Warmth of an Empty Teacup which premiered at OutfestNEXT in Los Angeles.
