Bio.

Though quiet by nature, Zegan Doyle lives for high drama. Zegan is a filmmaker and video artist whose background in dance choreography and art history highly informs their work. They have a particular fondness for shooting on 16mm film. Despite swearing that they would never return to school, Zegan did just that. They earned their MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television. Zegan received the William J. and Lee Phillip Bell’s The Young and the Restless Fellowship. They were also selected as a fellow for the Storytelling Institute in Cannes with Canal+, the City of Cannes, and the Cannes Film Festival for their feature screenplay. Zegan enjoys working in programming for organizations including Outfest Los Angeles, Austin Film Festival, and Film London. They are currently writing and directing an arthouse horror/drama as their first narrative feature film. Zegan can be found reading Turkish romance literature at the Korean spa or spending time with their two beautiful cats.
